If someone had told me a few years ago that I’d willingly pay to cuddle the world’s largest rodent, I probably would’ve laughed. But after meeting a capybara, I completely understand the hype.
And yes… before you ask… Can I pet that capybara? The answer is yes.
Thanks to TikTok and Instagram, these gentle animals have become internet celebrities, and now you don’t have to travel across the world to meet one. Right here in St. Augustine, Capybara Café gives visitors the chance to get up close and personal with one of the friendliest animals you’ll ever encounter.
Located just minutes from Historic Downtown St. Augustine, the experience is much more than a café. Guests can feed, pet, and learn about capybaras in a relaxed, educational setting that feels surprisingly personal.
The café was created in partnership with Noah’s Ark Sanctuary, giving rescued animals a place to educate t ...

There is just something about a Saturday morning and a good breakfast. Maybe it’s the excuse to slow down for a little while, catch up with family, or meet a friend over a hot cup of coffee. Around Fernandina Beach and Yulee, we’re lucky to have plenty of locally owned restaurants that make getting out of bed a little easier.
Whether you’re craving a stack of pancakes, homemade biscuits and gravy, or just a really good cup of coffee, you’ll find no shortage of great options close to home. The restaurants below are listed in no particular order because, honestly, choosing a favorite is nearly impossible.
If you’re looking for a classic breakfast that never seems to disappoint, Beach Diner is a great place to start. After months of anticipation, TESO life officially opened its doors in Jacksonville this weekend, and judging by the crowds, Northeast Florida was more than ready. We stopped by to see what all the excitement was about, and from the moment we pulled into the parking lot, it was clear this wasn't your average grand opening. After hearing so much about it online, we decided to see for ourselves if it was really worth all the hype. We expected long waits and a little bit of chaos with it being opening weekend, but the experience ended up being much smoother than we anticipated.
Located at 9278 Arlington Expressway, TESO Life is the largest location in North America. The massive store combines Asian grocery items, beauty products, home décor, collectibles, snacks, drinks, anime merchandise, kitchen gadgets, and just about everything in between. We were surprised by just how big the store actually is. Every time we thought we had seen it all, another section opened up with somet ...

Whether you’re a serious golfer or someone who’s never picked up a club, Topgolf Jacksonville has become one of Northeast Florida’s favorite places to eat, play, and spend time with friends and family. It is one of those rare spots where everyone can have a good time, regardless of age or skill level.
Located just off I 295 on the Southside of Jacksonville, Topgolf combines golf with interactive games, great food, refreshing drinks, and a lively atmosphere. Instead of playing a traditional round of golf, players hit microchipped golf balls toward giant targets spread across the driving range. The technology tracks every shot and automatically keeps score, making it easy for beginners and competitive players alike.
One of the best parts about Topgolf is that you do not need to know anything about golf to have fun. The games are simple to learn, the clubs are provided, and the staff is always happy to help you get started. If someone in you ...
